Sharon resident Karen Woods is an educator and mother of two children.She will discuss why we should read more diverse books with our children and how we can use these books as a jumping off point for deep discussions around topics of race and equity. You will have the opportunity to discuss topics around diverse books with others during the event. While this discussion will focus on children ages 0-8, the ideas will be transferable to older children as well.
