UPDATE: Charging, shelter available at library, Community Center, Adult Center

The Sharon Public Library is open today, Dec. 19 until 8 p.m. and the library's community room is available for all those who need warmth, power and internet. 

The Community Center and Adult Center at 219 Massapoag Ave are also open for those in need of shelter or to power up any cell phones, laptops, iPads. The centers are open until 5 p.m.

The library community room will be available today until 3:30 p.m., due to programming. There will be other space in the library for internet and computer use until 8 p.m tonight. 

Also here is the most recent update (as of Monday, 8:30 p.m.) from last night list the following roads closed.

Morse St between Lakeview & Massapoag.

Canton St between North Main & Richards.

Crest Road between Ashcroft and Crest Road Way.

South Walpole St detoured at Pine St

Maskwanicut St. between Norwood & Bullard.

Edge Hill Road at Dedham St

Maskwonicut St. from Norwood St. to Bullard St. just closed

There are multiple streets with wires and tree limbs down.

Treat all downed wires as live.
