Sharon Health Department :: Anonymous Mental Health Screening

This on-line screening/resource program is through MindWise and will be available to all residents of Sharon. It is anonymous and available 24/7 from a link on the Health Department and SSPARC webpages. The screening takes 3-5 minutes, is appropriate for all adults and easily used by teens/tweens, and can be used by parents of younger children who have concern. This screening tool increases prevention through the early identification of health and substance abuse issues. The screening provides immediate feedback with a concern or no concern for issue with on-line, national, regional and local resource options.  The resource options were specifically developed for our town and cover the on-line, via telephone and in person options. The program will also allow us to push out up-to-date educational information and additional resources on a variety of subjects related to mental health and substance abuse. Articles and blogs, fact sheets, videos and webinars are available for topics like managing stress, caring cultures in the workplace, grief, how to ask for help with depression, and eating disorders.

Screening topics include general well-being, depression, adolescent depression, generalized anxiety, posttraumatic stress, disordered eating, substance use, alcohol use, gambling, opioid misuse, psychosis, bipolar,  as well as a wide ranging screening. There is no limit to the amount of screenings taken.
