School Street closed to traffic during library construction

School Street will be closed to traffic during construction of the new Sharon Public Library starting the week of Monday, Sept. 25.

The closing will remain in effect for the duration of the construction project.

The closure will involve the installation of traffic signage, jersey barriers and perimeter fencing, along with privacy screening.

There will be a 4-foot-wide pedestrian pathway to North Main Street. The two residential driveways off School Street will still be accessible to those residents.

All construction-related vehicles and deliveries will be directed to enter and exit the job site through the North Main Street gate entrances.
