Residents can apply now for seat on Sharon Board of Registrars

Applications are being sought to fill an open seat on the Board of Registrars.

The Board of Registrars’ duties include assisting in the Town Clerk’s Office on Election Days, administering recounts and attending Board of Registrars’ meetings. 

The Select Board will make the appointment to fill the unexpired term.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• You must be a registered Democrat or Republican voter in the Town of Sharon. 
• Your party registration must have been maintained for at least two years. 
• You may not hold any other office in Sharon that is elected or by direct appointment of the Select Board or Town Administrator
• Your may not serve as chair, treasurer or other principal officer of any political committee.

The term for this seat expires on March 31, 2024.
