Nova finds a new home

This Siberian Husky arrived at Sharon Animal Control as a stray, exhausted and overweight.

She was quickly named Nova and settled right into her new living arrangement.

With the combined efforts of Sharon Animal Control, Canton Animal Control, Town of Sharon Animal Assistance Fund and the MVMA Charities, Nova thrived over the past 63 days while being treated for Lyme Disease, followed a weight management program and was spayed.

During Nova’s stay with Animal Control she enjoyed long walks exploring and getting plenty of belly rubs from the staff.

Nova’s owners were not located. A now thinner, more energetic Nova was placed into a home with her new furry best friends and is now living her best life.
