2023 Annual Town Report is a must-read for residents

2023 Annual Town Report

The 2023 Annual Town Report is ready and on its way to residents’ homes.

Scouts from Troop 95 Sharon will be delivering the Town Reports between now and April 22.

Residents can also access a digital version of the 2023 Town Report at www.townofsharon.net/sites/g/files/vyhlif3801/f/uploads/sharon_2023_town_report.pdf.

The 2023 Annual Town Report includes information from every town department and committee outlining what they do and summarizing their work and accomplishments.

State law requires towns to prepare and publish an annual town report prior to the annual town meeting. Sharon’s Annual Town Meeting will be held Monday, May 6.

The 2023 Town of Sharon Annual Town Report is also filled with interesting and informative facts about the town. The Town Clerk reports there were 141 births, 120 deaths and 69 marriages in Sharon. The Sharon Fire Department responded to 46 fires and 1,824 emergency medical calls. A total of 2,008 dogs were licensed in town. Library patrons borrowed 59,281 adult and young adult books as well as 113,979 children’s books.
