Vaccine & Vaccination Information

COVID-19 VACCINE

For the most up to date information on when you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit Mass.gov

MARCH 2024: FDA, CDC and ACIP has recommended an additional dose of the monovalent booster dose for those over 65 years of age (as long as it has been 4 months from last dose). Additionally an additional dose of monovalent booster dose for those moderately/severely immunocompromised (as long as it has been 2 months from last dose).

For those that have recently had COVID-19, you may consider delaying your next vaccine dose (booster or primary series) by 2 months from when your symptoms started or you had a positive test (if you had no symptoms).

SEPTEMBER 2023: Monovalent booster dose vaccine approved by FDA, CDC, and ACIP

Everyone aged 5 years and older should get 1 dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.

  • This is true even if you’ve never been vaccinated before!
  • You should get an updated vaccine if you have not had a COVID-19 vaccine since September 12, 2023.
  • There are three updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccines. There is no preference for one over another.

VACCINATION RECORDS

Access to individual vaccination records is now live and can be found at Mass.gov

  • To request records for multiple dependents (ex. children), a new request needs to be submitted for each dependent.
