Municipal Operations (updated 6/1/21)

Thank you to the residents for your flexibility and patience as we navigated an unprecedented year. We are very grateful to our employees and residents for adhering to state and federal guidance and working hard to keep the case count lower than some of our neighboring communities.
Town offices are open to the public, with restrictions in place for unvaccinated visitors, with the following schedule:
Town Hall
Monday – Wednesday          8:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday                                 8:30am – 6:00pm
Friday                                       8:30am – 12:30pm
Community Center
Monday – Wednesday          8:30am – 4:30pm
Thursday                                 8:30am – 6:00pm
Friday                                       8:30am – 12:30pm

Department of Public Works
Monday – Wednesday          8:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday                                 8:00am – 6:00pm
Friday                                       8:00am – 12:30pm
Drop-off requests and payments for disposal/recycling at the DPW yard must still be completed online. Visit to pay for  your items and schedule a drop-off time.
Monday & Friday                                10:00am - 6:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday   10:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday                                              10:00am - 5:00pm
Curbside pickup remains an available option.
Public Safety Building
Lobby doors are open 24/7, seven days a week.
Residents are always able to conduct business with the town by email or telephone, to the extent possible. Payment of bills and other correspondence can always be mailed to the respective departments or left in the drop box in the vestibule at Town Hall (the vestibule is the enclosed area between the porch and the lobby, and is accessible 24/7). Please note that cash cannot be placed in the drop box.
  • Unvaccinated/not yet fully vaccinated visitors must continue to wear masks and social distance while in town buildings, and asked to stay home if feeling unwell.
  • Residents are encouraged to pay all bills/fees by personal check or bank check.
  • Board/committee meetings will remain virtual for the time being while we await guidance from the state.
