How to Generate or Update a Job Description

Town of Sharon employees, Committee and Board members wishing to update existing job descriptions in the current format may do so by accessing a copy from the "Job Descriptions" page on this website. After making desired changes, a copy should be emailed to the Secretary to the Personnel Board (click here to email) with a request for re-classification if so desired.

Those desiring to generate a job description (either a new description, or one for which no "Current Job Description" exists) may proceed through the process by clicking the following link: Job Description Instructions. After review and if requested classification of the position the Personnel Board will have the description posted with the Current Job Descriptions.
