The Sharon Water Department recently received the Utility of the Year Award from the New England Water Works Association

The Sharon Water Department recently received the Utility of the Year Award (populations serving 3,301-49,999) from the New England Water Works Association. In attendance to accept the award were Water Division Supervisor Rob Terpstra & Public Works Superintendent Eric Hooper, who received the award from NEWWA President James Decelles.

The Town received this award for continuing planned capital projects (tank replacement, main replacement and meter replacement) while at the same time responding to the PFAS crisis.

Utility of the Year Award
