2016 Square Jam

Adam Ezra Group, the Band of the Year at the 2013 New England Music Awards, will be performing at Sharon’s 22nd Annual Square Jam on Thursday, August 4, 2016, which will take place from 6:00pm-8:30pm in Post Office Square, at Main and Billings Streets.
The streets in the town center are closed to traffic, and free ice cream, pizza and other refreshments are provided farmers’ market style for attendees thanks to our great friends at Crescent Ridge Dairy, Pizzigando, Coriander Bistro, Ward’s Berry Farm and Bread ‘n Brooklyn.
There will also be a kid’s art activity sponsored by New Arts of Sharon and face painting courtesy of the Hockomock YMCA.
Major sponsors for this event include Avalon Communities, Republic Services, Covanta/SEMASS, Dedham Savings and Everwood Day Camp. Other sponsors include Beacon Communities/Wilber School Apartments, Comcast and Senior Aerospace Metal Bellows.
This event takes place in Post Office Square – the Town's commercial center – and is a celebration of community, the revitalization of Post Office Square and the joys of summer by providing a festive and joyful atmosphere. Last year’s Square Jam had an audience of over 2,000 people of all ages – the largest attendance to date.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in at the Sharon Community Center, 219 Massapoag Avenue.
