The 2012 Open Burning Season is January 15^th through May 1^st. Permits are now available and residents may come to the fire station any day from 7 am until 8 pm. There is a $5 fee for the permit with a copy of the open burning rules. Once a permit is issued, the resident must call the fire department each day for authorization to burn that day. Please note that permits are only issued to the owners of the property and for non-commercial purposes.
