PAYMENT:
Checks payable to “Town of Sharon” or cash payment.
RETURNED CHECKS:
There will be a $25 additional fee for checks returned by the bank.
REFUNDS:
A full refund will be given for any program that is cancelled. You may withdraw without penalty from a program up to 7 business days prior to the start date, after that time no refunds will be issued unless your spot can be promptly filled by someone on the waitlist and no cost is incurred because of your withdrawal. To receive a refund you must fill out a “Refund Request” form. Refunds can take up to 4-weeks to process. In extraordinary circumstances, requests for refund after the start of a class will be considered by the Recreation Director and must be made in writing.
PRO-RATING:
We cannot pro-rate program fees because of absence, late sign-up, or other circumstances.
CANCELLATION:
We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment or other causes beyond our control.
CONFIRMATION:
Unless you hear from us, you are in the program. No confirmation letters will be sent home. We will contact you if the
program is full or cancelled. Please check the program description for what to bring and wear. If a program is full, a waitlist will be started. If you are on a waitlist, you will be contacted as soon as space becomes available.
MAKE-UP CLASSES:
All attempts will be made to reschedule classes that have been cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor absence. We are not responsible for making up classes that are missed due to the participant’s inability to attend.
FILLED CLASSES:
You are urged to register as soon as possible. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not “hold” spots. If your class is filled, you will be placed on a waiting list. We try to offer additional classes whenever possible.
DISCIPLINE PROBLEM:
If a participant becomes a discipline problem, he/she will be expelled from the programs without refund of the program fee.
FINANCIAL AID:
Please contact the Recreation Director for information. Financial aid is not available for late registrations.
NON-RESIDENTS:
Non-residents are welcome to the programs we offer if space is available, additional cost is noted.
