Congratulations to Jake Fishman on winning the New England Region of the MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run competition in the 13-14 age division!
Special Thanks:
The Recreation Department would like to thank Scott Wayne for his generous donation. Scott was able to donate of a pool table and air hockey table for the game room in the Community Center.
New Office Hours:
The Recreation Department's hours of operation will change starting October 27, 2008!
The NEW Office Hours will be:
Monday - Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pm
Thursday 8:30am-8:00pm
Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
DCR Park Pass:
The Sharon Recreation Dept. has partnered with the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation's "Use Nature as Your Guide" program to offer a ParkPass that entitles the bearer to free parking for 1 vehicle to any Mass. State Park. See flyer: DCR PARK PASS.pdf
We're Back Home:
On November 15th the Recreation Department moved back into the Community Center after the completion of a three year, ten million dollar renovation. The new center features 34,000 square feet of modern space for the community to come together to recreate and learn.
