Interlibrary Loan If the Sharon Public Library doesn’t have it, we will borrow it from another library.
Electronic Databases SPL offers access to databases that provide a wealth of information. Interenet-accessible and CD-ROM products offer full-text articles from general interest and academic periodicals. Legal, medical and scientific subjects are covered too.
Children's Room The Children’s Room offers interactive computer stations, puppets, videos...and books too. Not to mention fun galore! Storytimes, magic shows, puppet shows, pet exhibits, music, summer reading club, and more!
Museum Passes If you’re a Sharon resident & looking for an inexpensive outing, consider booking one of our passes to local cultural & educational institutions. We have several passes available, including the MFA, Plimouth Plantation, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Museum of Science, Children’s Museum (Boston and Providence), & Roger Williams Zoo to name a few. Stop in to check out what’s available. Most passes admit 4 people & most require a small payment that benefits the Friends of Sharon Public Library.

Book Buddies If you are physically challenged or homebound and are unable to visit the library and don’t want to miss out on our resources, call the Library and we’ll arrange to have a Friend of the Sharon Public Library-sponsored Book Buddy volunteer deliver materials right to your door. Friends of The Sharon Public Library The Friends were formed as a non-profit organization to foster closer relations between the Library and the community, promote awareness of the Library’s services and programs, and raise funds for Library purchases. The Friends sponsor the rental book collection, the museum pass program, the book buddy project, an annual book sale, children’s and adult programming, and MORE! Join today.
