Watermain replacement on Norwood Street between Bullard Street and the Walpole town line will begin on Monday July 14, 2008. Construction will take place from 7am- 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This project should take 2-3 months to complete. Please seek alternate routes because the road may be reduced to one lane in width during the regular construction hours and delays can be expected.
Roadways Scheduled for Paving in 2008:
Hampton Road (from Birchwood to Aspen), Oak Hill Drive (from Hampton to end), Lois Lane, Briggs Pond Way, Worcester Road (from Webb to Mark), Edge Hill Road (from Tiot to Norwood), Tiot Street (from Edge Hill to Town Line), Massapoag Avenue (from Mansfield St to Horizons Rd), Williams Road (from Chessman to end)
PUBLIC NOTICE OF MASS HIGHWAY WORK ON ROUTE 1 IN SHARON
The three bridge overpasses on Route 1 in the area of the Holiday Inn Express in Sharon will be under construction. Route 1 will be reduced to one lane for through traffic in that area. It is advised that residents seek alternate routes. The work is to be performed by a subcontractor working for the Massachusetts Highway Department.
Due to the fact that North/South Main Street will be under construction it is advised that residents seek alternate routes.
There will be traffic disruptions on North/South Main Street due to crosswalk construction. It is advised that residents seek alternate routes.
Bay Road is closed to through traffic between Chessman Dr. & Castle Dr..
