THE SHARON HEALTH DEPARTMENT NO LONGER HAS SHINGLES (ZOSTAVAX) VACCINE AVAILABLE.
WE DO HAVE OTHER ADULT VACCINES AVAILABLE including Pneumovax-23, Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, and Td. In addition we have a limited supply of Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/acellular Pertussis) Vaccine for adults age 19 through 64; as well as Varicella vaccine (Chickenpox vaccine) for adults 19 years and older who have never had chickenpox and, thus, have no immunity to chickenpox. These vaccines are available free of charge to Sharon residents by appointment on Tuesdays 3-5 PM and Fridays 9-10:30 AM at the Health Department office at Town Hall.
