MEDICAL WASTE DISPOSAL
Residential sharps will be accepted free of charge for disposal at the Sharon Fire Department - 92 South Main St-between the hours of 8am-6pm daily. Used needles and other sharps must be placed in puncture resistant containers that you cannot see through, such as detergent or bleach bottles. Containers must be sealed and labeled “do not recycle”. If you have questions regarding disposal, call the Board of Health office at 784-1500 x206.
This program is being provided in conjunction with Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Stericycle.
