NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF SHARON
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has updated their Flood Insurance Rate Maps and the Town of Sharon has two Town Meeting articles that will request a vote to approve the new flood maps and language changes to the Zoning By-Laws related to the map upgrades. Any resident interested in viewing the new maps can visit the Sharon Department of Public Works to see whether any change has occurred in the area of their home. The changes town-wide are minimal and almost all residences have not been subject to a change in their flood zone status.
